The Dorset Road Safe Department have provided the following information.
Tesla Autopilot Driver Assistance is not something we record, so the below information is taken from manual searches
We checked all validated and confirmed fatal collisions (not including off road, medical episodes or confirmed suicides) and none of them involved a Tesla.
We also then ran a Niche search for all Tesla vehicles involving in a road traffic collision and manually checked each Occurrence Entry Log (OEL) for any mention of the autopilot system.
By year since 2019:
Where you have figures, the number of road traffic collisions in which records show the Tesla Autopilot driver assistance system was active before the collision.
There were 3 slight injury collisions involving Tesla’s where autopilot, automatic braking or collision alert have been mentioned.
