The Performance & Analysis Department have provided the following information.

For a ‘more thorough search’ I have included any stop and searches where the clothing removed field is recorded as strip search – this is where more than outer clothing has been removed. For exposure of intimate parts there is a field for this within Niche and I have included any that are a yes. For a positive search I have included any searches where a prohibited item was found regardless of whether it was the item being originally searched for or not.

Please provide information for each of the following periods, as specified in the tables in the Appendix: 1st April 2020 – 31st March 2021, 1st April 2021 – 31st March 2022, 1st April 2022 – 31st March 2023. Please provide information relating to your police force area.
