Stolen bank cards

1. I would like to request the number of bank cards (credit or debit) that have been reported lost each year between 2018 and 2023 (so far), separated by year. If possible, please also separate the data by month. For example, X cards were reported lost in January 2018, Y cards were reported lost in February 2018, etc.
2. I would like to request the same data as above but for the number of bank cards reported stolen.
3. If this data is not stored separately, I would like to request the combined figure for both lost and stolen cards (or the closest stored dataset) across the date range specified.
4. If possible, could the data please be broken down by postcode area or location in which the loss/theft occurred.

For lost items with a name/address on it or can be directly identified as belonging to someone the following advice is given
“For UK passports or driving licences, report the loss to the Passport Office or DVLA.
For foreign passports, ID cards and driving licences, please report the loss to us at a police station. Please use the finder below to find the station closest to where you lost the item.
For bank cards or other official documents, such as birth certificates and bank statements, report the loss to the office that issued it.”
Therefore, no information is held regarding lost bank cards
The Performance & Analysis Department have provided the following information regarding offences involving stolen bank cards only.
We have downloaded from Niche Crime all Theft occurrences that have either *bank card* *debit card* or *credit card* within the occurrence summary to gather stolen card offences
