Can you please provide the nationality and ethnicity (two tables please do not
cross-tabulate these variables) of offenders for sexual offences which
occurred on beaches within your PFA from 2014 to 2019
The Performance Analysis Department have provided the following information.
Searches were completed on Niche for all occurrences with the main crime group of
‘sexual offences’ that had a location subtype of ‘pier’, ‘beach’, ‘on water’ or the
keyword of ‘beach’ in the occurrence summary. A manual review was completed on
all occurrences that had a location subtype of ‘pier’, ‘on water’ or that were blank.
Please Note that more than one offence could be committed at the same time by the
same suspect. Therefore, the tables show the number of offences not the number of
suspects.
