The Professional Standards Department have provided the following information.
How many police officers and police staff have been accused of sexual misconduct between 2022-2023, including rape, sexual assault and sexual harassment.
Between 01/01/2022 and 31/12/2023 six Officers and Staff have been either suspected, arrested or voluntarily attended a police station in respect of investigations in to offences of a sexual nature.
How many were women and how many were female?
All six of the Officers and Staff were male and all the victims were female.
What was the outcome for each of these cases?
We have taken outcome to mean criminal outcome.
One resulted in imprisonment, two were not charged and three remain live cases at this time.
