The Alliance Resourcing & Development Department have provided the following information.
Please note that the Workforce Planning Team quality assure the figures with Finance at the end of each month. Therefore, we have not provided figures as of 13/10/2023 but as at 30/09/2023.
The information was asked for on the submission date not several months later. Please can you provide the information for the submission date. Particularly the actual situation as long term sickness/secondment may have affected the figures.
1. The current recommended amount of PCSOs and Police Officers that Christchurch NPT should have under Policing good practice policies.
Design is 2 FTE (74 hours per week).
2. The actual amount of PCSOs that Christchurch NPT have and the number of weekly contracted hours. Please exclude any PCSOs on long term sick leave/secondment or if there is any other reason that they are not currently fulfilling their job role.
1 PCSO, working 19 hours per week (excluding long-term sick and other absences).
3. The actual amount of Police Officers (excluding PCSOs) that Christchurch NPT have and the number of weekly contracted hours. This is to exclude any officers on long term sick leave/secondment or if there is any other reason that they are not currently fulfilling their job role.
1 police officer, (excluding officers on long term sick and other absences).
Contracted hours: 40 (1 FTE).
