The Information Management Department have provided the following information.
For the past year (Jan 1 2023-Dec 31 2023) how many FOI requests were responded to with a response (rather than just a confirmation of receipt) later than 20 working days, and what is the total number of working days late in total that it took for FOI requests to be responded to.
Between Jan 1st 2023 to 31st Dec 2023 Dorset Police closed 1144 FOI Requests.
392 requests were answered later than 20 working days
In total those late requests were 21,034 calendar days overdue – The number of working days is not held and would exceed the appropriate limit under Section 12 of the FOI Act to calculate
For requests that are still open and have not been responded to, please can you let me know how many there are from 2023 (Jan 1 2023-Dec 31 2023)?
