The Performance & Analysis Department have provided the following information.
Data is for all rapes over 20-21, 21-22 and 22-23 where the OEL Entry contains the work Transgender or Trans.
Police don’t hold conviction data (that is the courts) so we have included the outcomes.
The gender of the person (Victim) is what they identify as. This data has been reviewed as this is a keyword search.
1. How many alleged rapes involving victims who identify as Trans were reported from the start of April 2022 to the end of March 2023?
2. How many of these led to convictions?
3. As a comparison, how many alleged rapes involving victims who identify as Trans were reported from the start of April 2021 to the end of March 2022, and how many from the start of April 2020 to the end of March 2021?
4. How many of these alleged rapes in 2021/22 led to convictions, and how many in 2020/21?
