The data below reflects all sexual offences or harassment offences that have one of the two following outcomes:
- 14: Victim declines/unable to support action to identify offender
- 16: Victim declines/withdraws support – named suspect identified
Data limitations/caveats:
Harassment data is for all harassment and not sexual harassment alone, as there is no separate recording category for sexual harassment.
Please provide data on the number and proportion of claimants in sexual violence and harassment cases reported to Dorset Police, who have withdrawn from proceedings prior to the conclusion of the case. Please provide this data from 2015 - present day broken down by year.
