The Records Management Unit have provided the following information:
- The number of custody images currently held by the force.
This information is not held.
- The number of requests received by the force for custody images to be deleted since 1 November 2022.
Dorset Police have logged a total of 71 applications under the force Record Deletion & Amendment Process between November 2022 and October 2023. These will have included the consideration of associated custody images
- The number of custody images deleted by the force since 1 November 2022.
We do not break our data down specific to custody images. However, of the 71 applications referred to above, 21 were approved, so associated custody photos would also be considered and deleted.
