Witness appeal after burglary in Shaftesbury

Police in Shaftesbury are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward following a burglary at a charity shop.

Between 10pm on Thursday 18 February and 8am on Friday 19 February 2016, offenders broke into the British Heart Foundation shop in the High Street.

Entry was gained through the rear of the premises via the car park off Angel Lane.

Money, men’s clothing and a computer was stolen and a considerable amount of mess and damage was caused to the shop.

Police Constable Steven Blackmore, of North Dorset police, said: “I am appealing to anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious between the relevant times to please call me on 101.

“I would also like to hear from anyone who has been offered a computer or men’s clothing for sale for a low price.”
