Current PACT Priorities

You are telling us that the following issues are priorities in your area:

PRIORITY (January 2013)

You are saying ... Drugs are being dealt from addresses and on the street in the Park District.

We are doing ... We will increase high visibility patrols on the streets to deter dealers. Where grounds exist suspected dealers will be searched. We will research suspected addresses and execute search warrants under the misuse of drugs act. We will work closely with our housing association partners to target known addresses.

You are saying ... There is an increase in Anti social behaviour from groups of youths in St.Thomas Street during the evenings, particularly around McDonalds.

We are doing ... We will increase our patrols in this area during key times. We will work closely with McDonalds to find a solution to the issue. We will robustly deal with any reports of ASB in this area. We will utilise our powers to disperse problematic persons from the area.

You are saying ... That there is inappropriate sexual behaviour happening in the Bond Street toilets.

We are doing ... We will carefully monitor these toilets to deter any inappropriate behaviour. We will challenge any persons found acting inappropriately. We will consider arresting offenders that continue to behave in this manner.
