Current PACT Priorities
You are telling us that the following issues are
priorities in your area:
| PRIORITY (11 February 2013) |
|
Rural Overnight Outbuilding Burglaries – Thus
far in 2013, there has been on average one outbuilding burglary per
week in the Sherborne Rural area.
Property stolen has included 2 quad bikes, an Ifor Williams
tipping trailer, a horse-drawn carriage, horse tack, a generator, a
power washer, jerry cans of fuel, batteries and alcohol. None
of the outbuildings attacked was equipped with an alarm system.
Although far from an everyday occurrence, this is a common type
of crime in rural areas but can usually be prevented at little
expense with an alarm system to deter the intruder. Further
information and advice is available from your local Safer
Neighbourhood Team.
