Detectives investigating a
robbery in Boscombe are appealing for anyone with information to
contact them urgently – with officers releasing e-fits of the two
offenders.
The incident, in which two local boys aged 14 and 15 were
assaulted and had personal belongings stolen, happened at around
1am on Saturday 2 June 2012 on Christchurch Road.
The victims were approached by two men
who led them down a side road before demanding they hand over their
mobile phones, a Superdry shoulder bag, a hooded jumper and a set
of keys.
Having done this, one of the boys was
then punched in the face causing an injury to his lip.
Detective Constable Steve Griffin, of
Bournemouth CID, said: “This was
an unprovoked attack which has understandably shaken the two young
victims.
“Following further enquiries, I am now
able to release e-fits of the two men responsible.
“I am appealing to anyone who recognises
these two men, or may have any information regarding the incident
to contact Dorset Police as soon as possible”.
The first offender featured in the e-fits
is described as a white man aged in his twenties with shaven blonde
hair, and wearing dark clothing.
The second is described as a black man
also aged in his mid twenties, wearing a dark hoodie with a cap
underneath.
