Detectives in Bournemouth are renewing their appeal
for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward after a
teenager was assaulted in the town centre – with an e-fit of the
offender being released.
The incident, in which a 15-year-old boy from Bournemouth was
punched by a man, happened at around 10.30pm on Saturday 21 April
2012 in the area of the Pier.
The victim sustained two fractures to his jaw
and was taken to Poole Hospital for treatment.
Detective Constable Steve Griffin, of Bournemouth CID, said: “Following
further enquiries, I am now able to release an e-fit of the man
responsible for this very nasty attack on a young lad.
“The victim was with friends and the offender
was part of another group.”
The offender is described as white, about 18
years old, of a heavy build and about six feet tall. He has short
blond hair and was wearing a black hooded top and blue jeans.
DC Griffin continued: “I would urge
anyone who recognises this man to contact me as soon as
possible.”
