Welcome
to Bournemouth East Section

The majority of Bournemouth East Section is residential.
The community is multicultural particularly the western end of
the Section.
The ethos of our Section is high visibility, positive policing a
substantial part of which is achieved by either foot or cycle
patrol. The Section has a daily policing focus on tackling local
issues such as drug dealing, anti-social behaviour, on street
prostitution and to improve road safety.
Our Safer Neighbourhood Teams
provide a regular and highly visible on-street presence,
tackling issues of concern raised by the communities they
serve.

Crime levels within East
Bournemouth have reduced year on year over the past five years.
This represents over 770 fewer victims of crime than there were
five years ago.
For all of us the priorities remain
the protection of life and property, maintaining the peace, the
prevention and detection of crime and the arrest and prosecution of
offenders.
I request any members of our
community who have concerns regarding Crime or Anti-Social
Behaviour to inform us, as I state at Community meetings, ‘if you
tell us we will do – please tell us’.
