Mini Motorcycles... The Law and You
The force will be taking positive
action against anyone found riding these mini motorcycles in the
future. The information provided here is intended for riders.
To use a mini motorcycle on a road
or a public place you must:
- Be over 16 years of age
- Have at least a provisional driving licence
- Wear an approved helmet
- Have tax and insurance
- Have undergone compulsory basic training (C.B.T.)
- Ensure the bike has a number plate and sufficient tread on the
tyres
You cannot ride a bike on private
land unless you have the full permission of the landowner.
