that the following issues were a priority in your
area:
| Speeding through Park Gate |
| Consultation with the residents and police has led the Parish
Council to adopt the principle of trying to reduce the speed limit
within the Park Gate area, the Parish Council are currently in
consultation with Dorset County Council's Highways
Department. |
| Underage Drinking in Stalbridge |
| Ongoing co-operation between the police and local licensed
premises has seen a reduction in this problem, regular patrols and
alcohol seizures has also had a marked impact. |
| Speeding in Stalbridge |

Regular patrols have reduced this problem however, it has not
entirely been resolved. The local Safer Neighbourhood Officer,
PC Phil Sugrue, has
recently been trained to use the hand held laser speed gun and
will be carrying out frequent speed checks and issuing Fixed
Penalty Notices to repeat offenders.
