Current PACT Priorities

You are telling us that the following issues are priorities in your area:

PRIORITY (January 2013)

Focusing on the ‘Fatal 4’ – concerns have been raised by local residents regarding the manner of driving of some drivers particularly in relation to excess speed. We will focus our efforts towards reducing the number of people exceeding the speed limit, not wearing seatbelts, drink and drug driving and using a mobile phone whilst driving.

The ‘no excuse’ campaign is an ongoing successful campaign throughout Dorset. Just four months into the campaign, nearly 7000 traffic related offences were detected. Most people drive safely but we still need to instil in people that there are still ‘no excuses’ and that people committing these offences will be dealt with robustly. Mudeford and West Highcliffe SNT will continue to target the Fatal 4 throughout your area to ensure that our roads are safer.
