about the emergency service number:
This service is only for
people who cannot use voice phones
It is not an extra
service for contacting the emergency services about
other things
Please use the 999
emergency contact number if you are able to
You will get a reply when your message is
received
There may be delays before Dorset Police
receive the text messages as we rely on other network
systems
Until you get a reply, try other ways to
contact the emergency services if you can
Dorset Police will take action against
people who do not use the 80999 service properly
