Police in Poole are appealing for witnesses and anyone
with information to come forward after a burglary in the Upton area
of the town.
The incident happened sometime between 12.50am and 2.30pm on
Monday 18 February 2013 at a house on Dorchester Road.
Thieves used a lump hammer and a spade to
smash their way inside the premises before making an untidy search
of every room.
They eventually made off with a tablet
computer.
Police Constable Mari Montgomery, of Purbeck
police, said: “This crime has left the victim very shaken.
“I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this
incident, recalls any suspicious activity in the area at the time
and anyone with any information about those responsible to contact
me as soon as possible.
“All calls will be treated in the strictest of
confidence.”
No arrests have been made.
