Detectives in Bournemouth are renewing their appeal for
witnesses and anyone with information to come forward following an
assault in the Charminster area of the town – with
an e-fit of one of the offenders being
released.
The incident, in which one large group of men
attacked another, happened outside the San Miguel bar on
Charminster Road at around 2am on Sunday 13 January 2013.
A 31-year-old man suffered a fractured
shoulder, a 23-year-old man sustained a fractured right eye socket
and a 27-year-old man emerged with minor injuries to his face. All
three men are from Bournemouth and attended hospital for
treatment.
Detective Constable James Batty, of
Bournemouth and Poole CID, said: “Two men
have been left with nasty injuries and required hospital
treatment.
“I am now in the position to release an e-fit
of one of the offenders.
“I would urge the man pictured – and anyone
who recognises him – to contact me as soon as possible.
“I am also renewing my appeal for anyone who
witnessed this assault, or who may have more information about
those involved, to call Dorset Police.
“All calls will be treated in the strictest of
confidence.”
No arrests have been made.
