Indecent assault in Poole - Witness appeal

Officers in Poole are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward after an indecent assault in the Parkstone area of the town.

The incident happened along Commercial Road, near to the Civic Centre by the crossing leading to North Road, at around 8.30am on Monday 4 February 2013.

The victim, a 26-year-old Christchurch woman, was inappropriately touched by an unknown man but did not sustain any injuries.

Police Constable Debbie Day, of Poole police, said: “Due to the time of day there would have been a high volume of traffic and I am hoping that somebody witnessed the incident.

“I would urge anyone who witnessed this assault, or has any information about the man responsible, to contact Dorset Police.”

The offender is described as white, aged in his mid twenties, approximately five feet eight inches tall and of slim build. He was wearing a cream puffy jacket and blue jeans.
