Detectives in Bournemouth are appealing for witnesses
and anyone with information to come forward after an alleged
assault in the town.
The incident happened along Holdenhurst Road outside the Texaco
service station between 1.20am and 1.30am on Thursday 1 November
2012.
A 20-year-old Bournemouth man sustained a
broken jaw and was taken to Poole Hospital.
Detective Sergeant Paul Auger, of Bournemouth
CID,
said: “The incident involved a group of people including men and
women.
“I need to find out what exactly happened and
how the victim sustained his injury.
“I am appealing for anyone who was in the area
at the time and may have seen anything that can assist me in my
enquiries to contact police as soon as possible.”
A 23-year-old Christchurch man was arrested
and released on bail.
