Officers in Poole are appealing for the help of the
public after a mountain bike was recovered in the Creekmoor area of
the town – with a picture being released.
At around 2.40pm on Tuesday 6 November 2012, officers
arrested a man on suspicion of theft.
Police Constable Luke Davis, of Poole
police, said: “An all black Marin Kentfield mountain bike with the
words ‘Marin Bikes California’ printed on the frame has been
recovered as a result of this arrest.
“We hope that someone recognises this
bicycle and will help us to find the rightful owner.
“It is possible that the owner has not yet
realised that this bike is missing.
“Please contact us as soon as possible if
you have any information that may assist with my
investigation.”
A 40-year-old Poole man has been arrested
and released on bail while enquiries continue.
