Robbery in Bournemouth - appeal for witnesses

Police in Bournemouth are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward after a man reported being robbed in the Springbourne area of the town. 

The incident, in which the man’s wallet containing £90 and his birth certificate was stolen, happened in the Spring Walk alleyway, off Spring Road, between 10pm and 10.30pm on Sunday 10 June 2012. 

Police Constable Nina Baxter, of Boscombe Police, said: “The victim stopped in the alleyway and was approached by three men dressed in dark clothing with their hoods up.

“He was punched and kicked and his property was stolen.”

The victim, a 39-year-old man from Bournemouth, sustained bruising to his face.

PC Baxter continued, “Unfortunately we do not have a more detailed description of the offenders.

“We are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious or has any information which can help the police with the investigation.”
