JOB TITLE
LGB&T Liaison Officer
THE ROLE
- To represent and liaise with other officers and members from
the LGB&T
(Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual, Transgendered) communities.
- To create an empathetic environment where people are encouraged
to report LGB&T
incidents and crimes.
- To raise awareness of LGB&T
issues both externally and internally and ensure that they are
positively addressed.
YOUR COMMITMENT
All LGB&T
Liaison Officers are required to attend induction training followed
by 3 out of 4 continuous development training days per year.
A new role profile is currently being finalised.
