Community Payback

Payback Works

Community Payback logoWelcome to the interactive ‘Payback Works’ section of the Dorset Police website – which gives you the chance to see what Community Payback work has taken place in your community.

This facility allows you to see some of the work supervised offenders have delivered as part of their court sentences across Dorset.

The launch coincides with the completion of Dorset Scouts’ “Arrowhead Mine”, a brand new tunnelling complex at Buddens Camping and Activity Centre near Wareham.

This is the biggest project ever completed by supervised offenders in Dorset, with over 4,000 work-hours completed and more than 100 individual offenders involved.

In addition to the information, photos and video packages showing recently completed projects, this webpage also features an online map pinpointing the locations so you can see the results of Community Payback in your neighbourhood.

The ‘Payback Works’ facility even provides the opportunity for you to suggest suitable work sites for offenders to carry out future Community Payback work at.
