The Dorset Police Motorcycle Club was formed in 2004 by a small
group of serving Dorset Police officers and affiliated to the
southern centre of the ACU. The club members are
regular competitors in off-road motorcycle events such as Hare and
Hounds, Enduro and Moto-cross.
The club decided very early that they would stage their own Hare
and Hound event. With the help of Southern Counties Enduro
Club and that of a large number of local riders the club staged
it’s own race in November 2004 at Hethfelton Forest near Wool,
Dorset. The event was a success and the club now stage an
annual forest based event.
