Current PACT Priorities
You are telling us that the following issues are
priorities in your area:
| PRIORITY |
1 - Portfield - Parking issues in Avenue Road
– Numerous residents have raised this as a community safety issue
to local ward Councillors. The issue is focussed around a local
motor trade business using the road for parking customers/loan
vehicles etc. There is limited off-road resident parking and there
are no parking restrictions on either side of the road. This causes
congestion and difficulty for motorists trying to emerge from side
roads.
|
|
2 - Jumpers - Graffiti at Jumpers
Common – Graffiti has been found across several areas
of Christchurch, Including the Crofton Close private garages that
back onto the common, and are in clear view of Jumpers Cemetery.
Although not directly offensive, this is an extremely unsightly
signal crime in a well used open space. This has been raised by the
PACT
Chairman, and has also been raised with a local Councillor and
Police.
